Also known as a building automation system, it is a computerized management system that controls and monitors, through software and hardware, the mechanical and electrical equipment of a building.

These centralized systems control and automate the mechanical, electrical and technological elements of the buildings, such as air conditioning, lighting, public address systems, supplies (water, gas, air, electricity), elevators, security and surveillance systems against fires to make it more efficient.

It consists of:

Hardware: servers, workstations, network controllers, field controllers, sensors.

Software: databases and computer programs that use communication protocols such as C-Bus, Dali, Modbus, Bacnet.

They can be used in hospitals, offices, industry, universities, airports, hotels, among others.
