For this reason, representatives of 15 organizations from 11 Latin American countries joined together to fight against these in industries, businesses, large buildings, hotels, hospitals and public facilities where there is a large concentration of people. Its mission is to transform the way in which the problems generated by fires in the region are faced, giving great relevance to Fire Protection Systems from a social, technical and regulatory point of view.
During the “NFPA Fire Expo & Conference” in the City of Boston, United States, it was announced that Alliance Specialized Systems, a Mexican leader in Fire Protection Systems, participated in the meeting of the LATAM PCI Network (Latin American Fire Protection Network). against fire) together with IFSA (International Fire Suppression Alliance). This convention was led by engineer Carlos Eduardo Morett Flores, president of LATAM PCI since January 2021 and director of the Alliance for 20 years.
Since 2019, LATAM PCI was created as a Network of Associations from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Panama and the Dominican Republic, representing 15 institutions such as Fire Protection Associations, Fire Protection Associations, engineers, manufacturers of the most recognized global brands on the market, Universities and Institutes, as well as Fire Departments, who work every year to strengthen an institution that regulates the fire industry in Mexico and Latin America.
In his vision to establish regulations based on standards and codes that provide total quality and regulate fire protection systems, Carlos Morett expressed that “The companies in charge of Fire Protection Systems cannot make a mistake since we protect the most valuable thing that “They are the lives of people, their properties and the emergence of businesses.”
Alliance Specialized Systems, in its quest to professionalize firefighting activity, has the largest number of certified engineers in its field and covers standards and certifications such as ISO 9001:2015 Certificate No. 46601 and LAPEM from CFE throughout the process.
In addition, it has certified engineers CETRACI, CEDACI, NICET levels IV in sprinklers, alarms and special risks, as well as a License from the Texas Department of Insurance.
He is a founding member of AMRACI (Mexican Association of Automatic Fire Sprinklers) and CONAPCI (National Fire Protection Council) and has certified experience in the application of standards and regulations of the NFPA, FM Global, local standards and other requirements of the insurance companies such as Allianz, Zurich and Marsh.
